Courses for 2012/13

Creativity in Sport has been expanding and developing their Body Rocks courses in Reading since 2008 and the following are now available in West Berkshire and Slough.

Body Rocks Life Skills Programmes
Secondary schools, pupil referral units and Youth Offending Teams engage Creativity in Sport to work with their pupils who are experiencing behaviour/emotional difficulties.

Body Rocks Motivation Course
Pupils who are capable of academic achievement but need focus and drive to attain their potential grades attend this short course of creative thinking and physical activities.

Work Out into Work Courses
These courses are commissioned by Jobcentre Plus for both young people on Job Seekers Allowance and Lone Parents on Job Maintenance Allowance. They help raise self esteem and confidence and equip them with the right skills for entering the work place.

The Body Rocks Family Project
West Berkshire LA has engaged Creativity in Sport to deliver this new government initiative as part of their Turnaround Project for troubled families for 2012/13.


Work in the Community

Body Rocks Inter generation Programmes
Our young team of Body Rocks instructors are leading weekly Body Rocks fitness sessions for senior citizens in Tilehurst and Reading.

IQ Winnersh & IQ Slough Business Park Estates
Lunchtime and evening Body Rocks workouts take place on these business parks to help keep the workforce fit and to enable the Body Rocks team to further their teaching skills.

Thames Valley Police
Creativity in Sport is working with the local police on their Youth Violence Project.
