Work in the Community
The Body Rocks team of young instructors are working with people of all ages.

Personal training / peer mentoring secondary school pupils, referred school students and young ex offenders, leading regular adult fitness training sessions and instructing senior citizens on inter generational projects.

They are also presenting and demonstrating at 3 Communities of the Future Conferences for Wokingham and Reading Borough Councils.

CRED
We are in our third year of teaching Year10 pupils from Cred, a local education authority run scheme in Reading that works with pupils who have withdrawn their best efforts from school, who may have emotional/behavioural problems and are at risk of being involved with the youth justice system.

The Body Rocks Life Skills Programme
Several courses have been successfully run for Years 9, 10 & 11 for selected pupils from secondary schools in Reading and these will be continued to be run throughout 2011. Creativity in Sport is also in partnership with Finchampstead Baptist Church and Wokingham Borough Council.

Foxwood Pupil Referral Unit
The Wokingham PRU has engaged the team to work throughout the year with their pupils with excellent ongoing results.

TKAP and the Thames Valley Police
Body Rocks is furthering their established work with Reading's Safer School's Police Officer on the TKAP campaign (Tackling knives Action Programme).

Central Berkshire Education Business Partnership
A grant was given in the spring of 2011 by the Central Berkshire Education Business Partnership for the young team of Body Rocks instructors to take weekly fitness sessions in Tilehurst as part of the "Generations 2gether" government scheme. It was extended for a further 4 months and the weekly class is now established with the sessions paid for by the attendees.

Reading Borough Council
The Body Rocks team were engaged in the Easter holidays to teach their fitness sessions to young children on the council's play scheme.

SEGRO and IQ Winnersh
SEGRO in the Thames Valley are supporting the work of Creativity in Sport and weekly fitness sessions are taken by the Body Rocks team in their local business park at IQ Winnersh.

Conferences
Creativity in Sport has attended several conferences this year in the boroughs of reading and Wokingham with the Body Rocks team giving talks and demonstrations.
